Marc Spector, portrayed by Oscar Isaac in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is the complex protagonist of the Disney+ series, Moon Knight. He's an American mercenary afflicted with dissociative identity disorder (DID).
Marc's alters include Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift shop employee in London who is largely unaware of Marc's mercenary life and connection to the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. Another known alter is Jake Lockley.
Driven by his past traumas and the influence of Khonshu, Marc becomes Moon Knight, a conduit for the god's will, often tasked with delivering brutal justice. He grapples with the moral implications of his actions and his troubled relationship with Khonshu.
